GOSSIP 2004

WELCOME to James Schwartz Gossip! I am the Admin Miss X, please feel free to e-mail me any hot JS gossip!
ARCHIVE GOSSIP FROM "A JS CYBER READER":
Who?s that boy? Indiana club kids got down with JAMES SCHWARTZ as he partied at TRUMAN?S ( http://www.trumans.com ), Michiwaka?s premiere nightclub. Schwartz arrived sporting a thrift store chic look and overplucked eyebrows as well as a white dress shirt which he wore unbuttoned (Kabbalists often wear white as a reminder of purity and battling the ego... )James spent most of the night on the dancefloor however he caught the night?s drag revue. One of the queens pranced up to Schwartz during her act and Schwartz grinningly mimed going down.... it got a big laugh from the audience and the queen. Schwartz was in good spirits and definetly stirred things up....Who?s that boy indeed!
JAMES SCHWARTZ is in talks to have his poetry chapbook A James Schwartz Reader turned into a play....
From queer poetry and homohop to kiddie lit?! JAMES has authored a blurb for the Mandie series: "As a poet I've read EVERYTHING and at 26 I still enjoy curling up on a rainy day with a Mandie novel."
For more on Mandie visit: www.Mandie.com
With election year in full swing James Schwartz has joined in the fray. He recently contributed a review for Michael Moore's F9/11 (see Writings page) as well as his poem Answer to F9/11 which can also be found on Gay Poetry.com...
JS was spotted at his local Democrat HQ sporting a PROUD 2 B A DEMORAT baseball hat which JS joked was his new "Michael Moore chic" look.
The Scarlet Band and Other Poems will include odes to Kabbalah, street flows and all things zebrajox! The poetry collection is due out early next year at the latest. Schwartz will be heavily promoting it, including a book tour and a possible documentary.
Hurricane Francis has left Jacksonville resident APRIL HOSKINS unscathed....she is currently working on her literary debut, a collection of all new poetry for a collaboration with James Schwartz's 2005 poetry/short story collection Reloaded.
How does our favorite flamboyant poet spend his late summer days? Apparently taking notes from Paris Hilton.... James was spotted exiting a Sturgis, MI. bookstore clutching Miss Hilton's literary debut: Confessions of A Heiress. Meow!
hmmm....could it be an election year? James Schwartz's tongue-in-chic politicana poem Battle Hymn of The Republic 2 is one of the hottest poems at Gay Poetry.com.
EDITOR: I am writing in response to your article on the bishop-elect Canon Gene Robinson and the Sturgis community's negative reaction, which is typical in the Midwest.
I would like to point out to the anonymous St. John's church member of more than 40 years, that following the Bible was the root of African-American slavery and is why the church is in disarray and its future uncertain.
Take the recent publication of the controversial novel "The DaVinci Code" which points out the inaccuracy of the Bible, although is the hardly news.
After two millenia, the church's power is waning. People are leaving the church every day and going back to God. Many people, including myself, are studying the ancient Jewish mysticism Kabbalah which Christ studied as well as Moses and Abraham of the Bible.
No one has a right to judge others because of their sexual orientation (including the church) and personally I wonder why they should want to. Life is so much more interesting and colorful with the diversity of race and sexuality.
To Mr. Robinson, I would like to extend my best wishes, whatever my opinion of organized religion.
